Good to have the 'burner' back. Can hear it over most of the state and beyond.
Back in the day it shared 580 with KSAC (later KKSU) weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings. Collegate 4-H had an hour on Saturdays. The K-State network was a group of radio stations that pitched in for operating expenses. Any money left over at season's end was refunded!
Lots of double dealing must have gone on to get WIBW to drop their arrangement to cover Cat sports, but anyway, for this old guy, it feels like things are near where they ought to be. Now for a win tonight to celebrate.
