And, yes, Weber was eventually a complete fool for falling, but good Lord was he baited and baited and.....baited some more. (at least that's the way I heard it over muffled radio)
He was handling everything pretty well....they kept asking and asking about officiating. He said the T shouldn't of been called and he said he simply wanted a reason for the T...and never did get one. And, he clearly then says (when again provoked) that no, the officiating was not the reason why they lost.
He then says he ain't saying any more....blah, blah, blah about working too hard and not getting fined....and heads out of PC. Again, someone yells towards him about further comment on refs.....and THAT's when he finally drops the "go ask Fran" card.
Wrong? No doubt. But the KC press knew they could get what they wanted........Weber to look like a fool and not have to cover the actual game and how K-State two years in a row went toe to toe in allen with their beloved program.
