To close the deal on Brad to come home…….not really. Went to visit my daughter who goes to law school there and she got tickets to the game. Brad got double T’d and booted. On his way out he was pumping up the crowd like Danny Hurley the other night. I couldn’t stand up because my boner was too hard……..
a few observations from the game :
-We think we have bad refs in the Big 12 …..these were the worst refs I’ve ever seen. They took UI completely out of the game which is why Brad got T’d twice
- Brad said in post game when he sees these refs on the docket he knows Kofi is fouling out. We have a couple of those.
-UI student section cheered Fvck you refs all night and there wasn’t anyone trying to stop them , shame them or quiet them. Kinda nice
-in fact after Brad got ejected, when they made their run at the end of the game they showed him on the video screen replay of firing up the crowd after he was ejected so they actually leaned into it. Can’t imagine that happening at KSU with ol’ Bruce
-Big 10 basketball is big man big boy physical style of play. These were two heavy weights trading blows. Be interesting to see how this style fares in the dance
- EJ Liddell is something else to see live and in person. He would easily be all Big 12
- Malaki Brahnam. My goodness. Just went off
- State Farm arena interesting place. Kind of old but kind of cool too. Much bigger than I thought it was.
-Apparently Bruce is a part owner of Jarlings which is the local Creamery here. Very good but now understand his affinity for ice cream.
