1. OU while not knowing how good Houston was going to be when they scheduled them was in a no win situation. This was Houstons game of the year and they played like it.
2. This was probably a job saving game for Charlie Strong and his players came through for him. We probably still don't know how good either team is yet. Swoops will probably be hurt by the time they play us. He is like the Belldozer.
3. TCU is not as good as advertised. But who knows. I'm only going by the score.
4. West Virginia will be solid at home and we play them there but the good news is we still haven't lost to them.
5. O-State, Baylor, Tech and KU . Still don't know anything. FAU is better than any of the teams they played and won't be an easy one for us.
6. Iowa State. Kind of where they are every year still. Will get better.
7. K-State. Tough first game assignment for a lot of young guys that in my opinion grew up fast and will be solid. QB is still the biggie and i do hope they fast track Delton or Thompson. I know Thompson is a true freshman but he should know the system by now and with two qb's in the recruiting class it shouldn't hurt to waste a redshirt if he is good enough. We have to have faith in the coaches here.
8. In my opinion it is going to be really hard for the Big 12 to get a team into the play-offs. Long season though but early games hurt way more than in basketball.
