From my very untrained and limited frame of reference, logic tells me that at every level most of the elite athletes will look for opportunities further up the ladder. I think it will impact every level of college from D3 on up. Many athletes who over estimate their skills will look upstream. As far as NIL goes, it seems to have the potential to do major damage to the fabric of college sports. The system has been very flawed for decades but this current environment could be a nuclear bomb. I see no benefits except for elite programs. If we lose Deuce and Felix due to NIL the implications are huge. I feel for Wyoming and other schools losing their players. Terrible path we’re heading down. What say you?
