The four foot arc as well as the hand check rule will help the offense. The 30 second clock will help the defense.
The rule allowing the offense to travel unopposed (the defender can't move to block the offensive player without the ball unless he already has position) should help our motion offense as we move through the lane.
I'm sure that KU will continue to get away with numerous hand checks and moving screens like they have in the past, but may not be able to be as flagrant about it. I don't think Hugg's mugger ball will go over very well. Also, flopping is a foul this year (an OSU art form), but will be tough to call.
Overall I believe it will help the offense the most. I hope it will cut down on some of the physical contact and thus reduce injuries.
