What happened? Where did Fitz and Staff go?

I'd sure appreciate an explanation of what happened to gopowercat.com, Fitz and his staff, the stories they had on line, and Wabash Station? It's pretty obvious Rivals has taken over gopowercat, changed the name and the name of Wabash to the Foundation. They have hired and all new staff, but where was the warning and the explanation of why we have had a complete staff change? Any chance we will see a published K-State magazine again like Fitz used to publish Quarterly? I guess Rivals must have owned the rights to gopowercat.com. Was he behind on payments for the website, or what went wrong after all these years? Some of the staff I really enjoyed and hate to see them all go away. It's like we got surprised by the hiring of a new coach and staff of our fan site and the old staff has been fired lock stock and barrel!

I have to admit that I didn't agree with everything Fitz did. I thought instead of just publishing the news he got political and tried to influence the hiring and or firing of K-State coaching positions on football and basketball instead of just publishing the news. The number of on line articles to read daily has gone down this summer, and he had no interest in covering our women's basketball or volleyball teams for like ever. I miss the fall and spring football specials, the basketball season publication and the football recruiting publications. I thought there was room for coverage for men and women sports as well because they all represent Kansas State. Still I like to see the main coverage be on the football team and men's basketball. Could the new staff explain the change to us that pay to be on this site?
