Football What I'm hearing on future OC search...

Instantly, beginning a few days ago when the rumblings really picked up that there would be changes at the top of the pyramid on offense, it was told to me that it was nearly a foregone conclusion that the replacement would be Wyoming OC Tim Polasek.

Polasek used to be the OL coach at Iowa before leaving to get an OC role at Wyoming. And before that, he was with Klieman and the gang at Fargo and was the OC at NDSU before Messingham, for clarification.

However, yesterday it was shared to me that the rumblings about that had quieted and it was believed a few other contenders had a significant shot at the gig, too. I don't know who those to be just yet.

Furthermore, Klein is the interim OC for the bowl game and it isn't impossible to think that it could be somewhat of an audition for him these next few weeks. The team's first bowl practice will be tomorrow. Obviously, it will be more of getting into the swing of things since they do not yet know who their opponent will be.
