If President Myers and Acting AD Veatch truly feel like the program is going in the right direction, what took so long to publicly back the coach?
I believe they couldn't find someone they felt would be a good replacement at this time...and I'm OK with that. I don't want to replace Bruce just to replace him...that's what Currie did to Frank. I have never felt like Bruce was the right coach for the job, but if you are going to replace him you have to make sure you are replacing him with someone you truly feel can take the program in the right direction. If that coach isn't out there or is unwilling to come here at this time, then I think you are forced to stick with him for now.
