I think it would significantly improve officiating if they increased the number of refs from 3 to 4. And if they actually held them accountable. And if they paid them really, really well so bribes weren't as enticing. But in terms of having 4 officials, you would be able to divide the court into quarters instead of thirds. An extra set of eyes would help a lot I think.
