Bill and his program pride themselves on developing leadership, but I'm not seeing a whole lot from the players that gives me the impression that anyone is leading.

Alabama held a players only meeting after the game against Colorado State. Just to remind you, Alabama won that game 41-23, so not exactly a tense game. Since that meeting they have allowed 3 points. The best team in the nation is pounding other teams and yet they can still find the fire and inspiration to hold themselves to a higher standard.

K-State is not playing well. K-State players know they are not playing well. They, not me, kept saying that they wanted to do something special this season. They, not me, said they wanted to win the Big 12. They, not me, said they wanted to be in Atlanta in January. If what they say is true then where is the competitiveness? Where is the players only meeting where everyone comes together to hold the team accountable? Where is the fire on the field and on the sidelines to get everyone playing up to their potential.

I see next no leadership from the players on the field and I don't understand it.
