Great work again by GPC. Seems like some one on here had a recruiting guru say that Green's only equivalent physically at KSU would be A. Brown. Hope the kid gets here as early as possible and works his way onto the field, however if that happens it will be because Trent Tanking has helped him get there.
Ever since I questioned if Trent was athletic enough to not be a big drop off from Moore I have heard from a volume of good sources that he is very athletic---maybe not as explosive--and mentally he is as dialed in to what the D is trying to do as any LB in recent memory.
The consistent theme in the discussions of Trent beyond his ability to play the position was that he was a leader that put team first over self and if he was beaten out he would be all in for supporting that player. One knows based on that attitude Trent succeeds in life in a big way regardless of how his senior year plays out.
No doubt Green is a bit more prepared since his coach had JC experience than some out of HS but the discipline of a Tom Hayes D will require plenty of coaching and film study. Trent is the guy who will be teaching him as workout Captain and given the aforementioned attributes I have little doubt he will be working hard on making sure the best man is at ILB be it he or Green.
