HCBS has stated publicly many times he wants Sean Snyder to succeed him as head coach. So why did he not set him up for the position? HCBS knows full well the path to a head coaching gig is not special teams coordinator, or head of football operations. No one has ever been hired from one of those positions to head coach outside of a movies starring a former SNL cast member.
So why did HCBS never name Sean OC, or DC? Or better yet get Sean an OC or DC job at another school he has connections with the coach at so Sean could prove himself worthy of HC?
This seems to indicate Bill doesn't think Sean has the chops to be OC or DC.
It's just mind boggling.
