4th of July is almost upon us and its one of my favorite times of the year. Homemade ice cream, parades, fireworks in our local town, and watching the rural poor come out to blow their monthly welfare check on their personal fireworks display. When I take my family it actually helps me spend less on what I'm getting when I see these people loading cart after cart into their 91' Dodge van. Its like watching fat people over eat...and makes you eat salad. Is this the norm around the country or just in my area in NE Kansas?
Why do the rural poor like fireworks so much?
