Why do we have such a hard time getting defensive tackles?

We seem to always have a hard time to get D1 defensive tackles. At Memphis I noticed Arkansas freely substituted every 3 or 4 downs with equal replacements. I think is one of the reasons why our d backs have to play so far off of the line because we have a hard tome with the pass rush. Personally, I think Mo needs to retire and enjoy his success at KSU through the years.
