1. We're a basketball school (well we were 30 years ago, administration at that time understood that we needed winning football to be relevant and survive, we're a football school now)

2.Manhattan a great city that attracts recruits (well I think it's great but I didn't even want to go there coming out of high school and I come from a small town)

3. We've got great facilities (and so does almost every other Power 5 school)

4. We've got great academics (well if having easy classes to pass is great academics, we've actually still have the least selective criteria for admission of pretty much any Power 5 university and Brownback has gutted the funding of our state universities. Sorry to hurt anyone's pride but K-State is not a well respected academic institution outside of a few programs. How many prospective athletes want to be grain scientists and architects?)

5. Our boosters will pay players and the RCPD will let athletes get away with infractions (LOL)

6. Kansas is loaded with top recruits (coach just has to find those diamonds in Scott City)

7.We'll pay more than anyone else (unlikely, the football program needs every dollar available)

8. Our fans will support our coach even in a rough stretch (no one's even ever called for a terrible coach like Bill Snyder to retire)

9. Anything else?
