Why not install the single wing formation?

Based on the talent level of our offense, the single wing would be an ideal formation to take advantage of those skills. I think Hubener, although somewhat slow afoot, could handle the tailback position quite adequately and Silmon would be an ideal fullback or #3 back. For those of you not familiar, the single wing is a power formation that produces yardage via power sweeps.

Colorado used the single wing very effectively back in the 1960s with Boyd Dowler as the Buffs' tailback and dominated the Big 8 Conference. Hubener reminds me a lot of Dowler with his run/pass skills.

Great Bend HS used the single wing under coach Harry Kline and dominated western Kansas football.
