Why we didn't run crossing routes

As others have mentioned it was bizarre that nearly every route in the second half was all deep and no crossing routes or some underneath safety valve.
They way I see it the options are:
1. Growing pains for the staff without Miller and they will figure it out eventually.
2. Dimel and Snyder got stubborn with "this should work if we would catch the ball" which is something that seems to happen at least once a year.
3. Coaches don't trust Jesse on crossing routes because he tends to decide late, deliver late and when you do that on a crossing route you are running a huge risk of a pick that could be returned.
1 can be fixed
2 usually gets resolved
3 would make us very limited in the passing game all season.
