come and play basketball for Kansas State in the next few years??

  • An opportunity to play right away given youth
  • A young nucleus that will continue to get better for the next 3-4 years.
  • A young nucleus that has the chance to compete for conference titles and beyond.
  • Play in the B12 against the best competition night in night out.
  • Great academics and obviously an unreal college town
  • A diehard fan base that bleeds purple.
I guess my question and thought is given the misses on CJ Noland, Cuffe, Aminu Mohammed (was always a long shot), and Cardet seems to be slipping, what is the reason that we cannot land one or a few of these kids to go along with Landers?? I COMPLETELY understand that you miss more in recruiting that you hit, but it always seems like we are in these kids top 2-4 schools, but cant ever finish. I know a lot (most) of you will point to Bruce as the reason, but I do not think that is 100% the case, because obviously the staff is doing enough to be in the conversation come decision day. They just cant seem to finish as of late. Why do you guys think this is?? My thought process is that kids would see the youth on the floor and see an opportunity to play early and help out.

Thoughts?

Always love the conversations, just wanted some hoops talk that was not necessarily about the games happening right now.
