Media is reporting that WSU has played their last game in the historic Missouri Valley Conference. They join the big leagues next year in the AAC. The atmosphere in Wichita will be off the hook with the likes of Cincinnati, Memphis, and Uconn visiting the roundhouse.
This league move bumps WSU as far and away the 2nd most powerful basketball program in the state of Kansas, with K-State a distant 3rd.
