If I was the Chris Kleiman and had to hire some coaches to replace Mess and Klein. My first two calls are to Joey Halzle at Tennessee and Brian Hartline at Ohio State. I offer them co-oc job with Halzle as QB coach and Hartline as WR coach. Brian Anderson would remain as RB coach. Halzle has worked very closely with Josh Heupel and is viewed pretty highly as an up and comer. Hartline is a stud recruiter. Halzle also probably would make you the front runner to land Dillon Gabriel.
Very much a wish list, but Christmas is getting closer.
Curious other people who intrigue you guys. Halzle would probably listen because it would be an upward career move. Don't know that Hartline would even listen, even though it would be a promotion from position coach to Co-oc.
