I would have loved to see a fiery Bruce Weber grow some balls, stand up for his players, lay into the refs, and take the fine. I think it would have really energized our team and fanbase.
That being said, I was very surprised and happy with the way we played tonight. We are a much better team than I thought, and I think we'll kick KU's ass at home this year. They are definitely beatable and I hope the Big 12 can end their streak this year.
P.S. Although it was a BS no call, we had two opportunities to end the game and came up empty. You can't do that against KU. Gotta finish. I don't see us winning the game in overtime either.
