I honestly don't know how to answer this. I would like to say that the team will be better, because they are not good this year. But with what KSU has on the roster now, I don't know how they will be any better.

Let's look at the offense first. KSU will be losing their two best O-lineman in Stiverson & Whitehair, best WR in Kody Cook, Kyle Klein & Andre Davis as well. I know that the past two recruiting classes have been better than the previous three (on paper), but do we really expect redshirt freshmen to come in and make a huge difference in this offense? Because I don't. Even if Delton or Thompson are the starting QB's, then they are going to have very little actual game experience.

If Hayes is still making the defensive calls, then I still fully expect TTech, OU, Baylor, & TCU to light KSU's defense up because of the stupid as**d bend but don't break defense. Barnett & Shelley will be back in the Secondary, but KSU will be losing Bryant & Britz on the d-line.

Let's look at the schedule now. KSU opens up the year on the road against Stanford. If Delton or Thompson is the QB, then that is the worst case scenario to start them - on the road at Stanford. KSU will have Baylor, WVU, TCU & OU on the road in conference play.

I'm sorry, you can call me a skeptic all you want, but I don't see this teams final record being any better than 7-5. Now that would be absolutely outstanding following this year, but that would also include KSU beating everyone at home & at ISU. The offense next year could possibly have more talent on the field than this year, but they will/could be so incredibly inexperienced that the QB & WR positions that we really won't know if they are any better or not.
