That bastion of human rights, China, has been appointed to a panel to pick investigators for the UN Council on Human Rights. This tells you all you need to know about the UN and is just another reason why we should abandon the UN and throw its' headquarters out of the US. China, home to Muslim Uighur detention camps, the Tianamen Square massacre and its world famous free press will represent Asia when choosing investigators for UN Human Rights investigations. That should be special. China serves on the council along with such noted observers of Human Rights as Afghanistan, Cuba, Egypt, Iraq, Pakistan, Russia and Venezuela. This distinguished list, along with many other members of the Council with notable records of ensuring human freedom for all of their citizens represent everything that is wrong with the UN.
