Does anyone have any experience buying Royals World Series tickets off of scalpers from last season or ALCS tickets this year? If so, how much did you pay relative to online prices / early scalper offers, when did you buy, and where were the seats? If not, did anyone buy tickets day-of on stubhub and get a really good deal?
I'm planning on flying in with a friend from North Carolina for game 6, but am not excited about dropping $500 on the standing-room-only tickets available on stubhub presently. I know if you can wait long enough, scalpers start dumping tickets around first pitch, but wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this at Kauffman, as I'd prefer not to fly all the way there and fail to get into the stadium.
