I'm eating crow, I thought the CATS would pull off an upset tonight.
To open up the season on the road (with a lot of youth) against a very good team .. maybe I was drunk on purple koolaid to predict such an upset.

The offense is a work in progress... Ertz struggled in his first start .... the defense could not get 3rd down stops in the first half (but played very well in the second half).

Obviously the unforced penalties were frustrating to say the least. That was the first thing Snyder talked about in the post-game.

From Snyder's post-game comments, sounds like a certain receiver did not run the correct route a number of times.

Darn the luck = Mike Moore had plenty of room on the sideline, but was looking down field when he stepped on the out-of-bounds line. That was a TD that "could" have changed the course of the game. And then the missed FG, which would have brought the CATS within one score of Stanford (TD + 2 pt conversion).

Though I'm disappointed in the game, I still believe the CATS will be much improved over last year's team. Ertz will get better ... the O-line will get better... I'm confident just about every player will get better.

The GOOD NEWS... K-State has a bye week and two not so tough non-con games to get things going on offense. I'm sure this team will get better every week, the Bill Snyder way.

Good things are going to happen this season... K-State will not lose a game at home this season and will get at least two wins on the road (WV, ISU...).

Lastly:
WTF does one have to do to get an interference call.

GO STATE !
