Obviously it is going to depend on how much / how long Zobrist wants, but I think this team could do damage again next year if they can keep the lineup relatively intact. Our current setup is incredibly balanced, and I love the demeanor that both guys bring to the plate in their respective spots.
I have loved Cueto's contributions in the Houston series and last night, but definitely don't think they have the means or desire to retain him long-term, especially given what a dumpster fire he was in the regular season. Don't get me wrong, I totally think the trade was worth it if we win the World Series given his 2 solid outings in key spots, we just don't have the $$ to throw at someone who has been anything but consistent his whole time here.
