Sometime last season Colin Klein went directly to coach Snyder regarding his mental health. Even before the cancer he was showing regression in memory and his speaking ability. After the treatments he was only worse and the decline has continued.

I know of four assistant coaches who went to Adgt directly expressing their concerns with Snyders mental state.

There was a massive division in the coaching staff last year. Dimel lost his battle with Sean Snyder and left. Dimel was by all accounts hoping to stay to keep his job but he lost. Colin Klein basically took his place on his stance against Sean and has been loud and vocal in his resistance. Klein is the biggest reason there hasn't been more transfers.

Coach in a round about way told his players after the Texas tech game he was being replaced. He didn't outright say it but the message was clear.

This has become a writing on the wall situation, Snyder is feeling pressure on all sides and he is by all accounts being shown the door as respectful as possible.
Sean Snyder will not be on the coaching staff next year if any of the other assistants are hoping to be retained.

Coach has for the most part isolated himself and Sean has been basically the middleman acting head coach. Obviously the division and confusion has been bad. Klein and him are at great odds and Klein has defended and fought for the players with everything he has.

Expect an announcement shortly following the Iowa state game. Win or lose

Against my better judgement, The staff has openly talked about who might be coming in and they think it will be Klieman.

Enjoy your night
