These's been a lot of talk this cycle about staying home and the Cats have had massive success keeping the family in state.
I couldn't help but be reminded of the last group of stud Cats that "Came Home".
Someone can probably correct the particulars because I'm not wholly aware of the ins and outs, but it was those Coming Home Cats from 2011 that made me fall in love with the program. I'm thinking specifically of Arthur Brown and Chris Harper. Both were massive in-state studs, and both tried their hand on the coasts at traditional power house programs and both returned home quickly to legitimize Snyder 2.0 with a national championship run and conference championship.
That was just a couple of guys that returned but I can't help but see a lot of correlations with this current group of Kansas studs.
I feel a conference title is well within our grasp in the coming years. It's tangible.
