Isn't this what we get when an AD and coach wants to run a college bball program that is squeaky clean and doesn't want to operate in the so called gray area? Maybe that's too simple and the truth is somewhere between Bruce and his assistant aren't good recruiters and an unwillingness to skid the rules a bit. I just look at the most likely players to return next year and the incoming recruits and it just screams mediocre. Just pissing me off this program is getting worse by the day. I know a program like K-State isn't going to play at a high level every year like some blue bloods but I just don't see it getting any better anytime soon. They are mentally and physically weak it's soo damm frustrating to watch. I figured more skill and less doberman under Bruce but skill is extremely lacking on this team.
