Here is a brief synopsis of Burton since he left KSU. Undrafted FA signing with the Falcons last year. Falcons moved him to CB, and he spent all of last year on the practice squad. This year, was signed to the practice squad to start the season, but brought up to the active roster last week due to injuries. He actually got to play in about 10 plays as a CB last week in addition to his special team snaps.
After that game, Falcons cut him from the 53 man active roster with intention of signing him back to the practice squad. Green Bay must of saw something they liked in Burton during the game and claimed him off waivers and now he's on the active roster for the Packers.
