Over the last week, we are now seeing Biden and Dems pivot their messaging around inflation. Apparently, their focus group-approved term and explanation of "Putin's Price Hike" didn't quite resonate with the American people like they thought (shocked). New nemesis and explanation is greed in Corporate America. They want to bring down inflation by raising corporate taxes. I'm all for ending corporate greed, eliminating industries that are no more than monopolies or oligopolies with little market control, but that's the stupidest policy measure as a way to fight inflation, I think I've ever seen. Can anyone out there, explain to me how taxing a company more, taking more of their profits, will force them to lower the prices for their goods, thus lowering their profits even more? Does this administration hire their economists via Craig's List?
