-Anyway, the defense team in the opening statements admits to paying these players and committing NCAA violations......including Preston and Desoso. But, their argument is that this on it's own, does not mean they committed Federal crime. So, in an odd twist, the defense is incriminating the schools.....and the Feds are saying the schools are the victims, lol.
-At this point, under the new NCAA procedures, the NCAA can immediately use this to punish KU (and others).
-KU may have to vacate last year's title and FF appearance.
