Anyway, word is that Venables has agreed to come on staff following Clemson's bowl game. It would be a 1 year deal, then he would become head coach with Snyder stepping down. I did not ask what the "title" would be for the first year. Snyder supposedly consulted with Bowden about how it worked at FSU and it went from there.
IMO, that is about the best scenario that we could hope for which makes me have doubts. I wasn't going to post until I heard it from the second guy who is completely unrelated (job title or family) to the first.
