I realized last night ...
- I wanted Kansas State to win. Really wanted them to win, being on national TV, big for the team and momentum, a recruit in the house, etc.
- I was disappointed, but I also wasn't surprised, I guess? I just sort of ... I don't even know ... I won't say I expected a loss, but I expected it would be a matter of KSU trying not to trip on its own shoes with egregious mistakes or poor strategy/execution/both... and it proved too much (again).
- I guess I realized I don't really expect much at this point. I'm happy when they win. Not surprised when they don't.
- Apathy really has set in for me, which made me that much more appreciative of the full student sections. The kids were fantastic from what it sounded and felt like on TV. That level of support deserves a better product.
