Kansas State could be looking for a new coach or two (Jason Ray gotta go) and who could be brought in. I would certainly hope it's not a Kleiman crony, but someone with regional ties.

Ryan Held, Running Back Coach, Nebraska- He would be my top choice as the former Kansas high school coach is a solid recruiter. (He's also recruiting coordinator). This staff could really, REALLY use a good recruiter, and considering his success (and if Frost is let go), perhaps he is available. Could he/would he be open to coaching receivers?

Malcolm Kelly, Wide Receiver Coach, TCU- If a new staff comes in, he may be out. Former OU standout and NFL second round pick could check a lot of boxes the Cats need. Young, coach at a position of need, pedigree as a player, pedigree as a coach (Jalen Reagor as a first round pick is much more recent than Carson Wentz). He's a Texas/midwest guy.

Beau Trahan, QB/Passing Game, Tulsa- The Tulsa regime is about to be fired. Trahan coaches QB's and co-passing game coordinator. Would Trahan come on as a TE coach or help to build up the passing game? Additional help coaching developing QB's/passing game couldn't hurt, especially a guy who played and coached in Texas before now in Oklahoma.

Jordan Navjar, TE, Tulsa- Played tight end in Texas and then went to Baylor. Has spent time the past four seasons coaching TE's at Tulsa. Just turned 30, so he's certainly a young face. If the Cats want to utilize the tight end, they certainly could use to find someone capable of coaching the position.

Jourdan Blake, Recruiting, SMU- A young 'coach,' Blake signed with Baylor in the 2014 recruiting class. Can he coach safeties/do recruiting? Young, embedded in the Dallas area with experience having played defensive back at the D1 level, could help the Cats in the area they truly need to be better out of state, which is Texas.

Mike Grant, Wide Receivers/Passing Game, Wyoming- Would he want to coach at the FBS level. Fan base concern due to lack of experience coaching/recruiting at the top FBS level. Played QB at Nebraska, has coached at North Texas and Western Michigan as well.
