My Thoughts
TCU gets a lot of points from the paint and off of second chance points 49.9 out of 73 points a game come from those two stats. The cats counter that with their defensive rebounding ability but they tend to be poor inside the paint, it's easy to shoot over Nowell and Pack and the bigs aren't just get out played falling for pump fakes not getting hands up in time, etc. Markquis Nowell vs Mike Miles is an intriguing matchup to watch both are excellent play makers and can do it all on offense, but I'm intrigued on Nowell's defense on Miles as he turns it over a few times a game and Nowell can be a pest on defense at times. We all know how important this game is, every game is important. I think this is the most winnable game left for a few weeks. TCU shouldn't be much of a threat from 3, only twice this season they made more than 10 3's, they've also shown to be very capable at giving the ball up as they have turned it over 46 times the past 3 games, they've played 9 games with at least 10 or more turnovers and the cats for the most part haven't really given the ball up. The Cats on defense need to keep TCU off the glass, shut down Miles and keep them out of the paint, outside of O'Bannon forcing them to take jump shots wouldn't be the worst thing. On offense the cats need to finish around the rim better as a whole, especially Miguel and the bigs. Nowell needs to avoid charges better, and the cats have to find a way to the free throw line, for the most part they're solid there. Give me the cats 69-63
