Was a stinker as far as the pitchers were concerned. All but Herrera and Franklin Morales were bad. On the Moose front, he attempted a bunt against the shift and it went foul. He then struck out. On a later AB he hit a dying quail shot over ss for a single.
I did sit with Dayton Moore for about 5 minutes and asked about the upcoming draft. He feels it is not a deep draft but has opportunities to get some talent. He left after 3 innings and I soon realized why. Only Moose, Salvy, Rios and Kendrys played. Probably only Kratz and Roberts out of today`s players stand much chance of making the 25 man roster. Most of the pitchers were iffy as well. Bubba managed to strike out twice today, mostly taking strikes,curve balls, and swinging at balls out of the strike zone. Good swings but no contact!
