All of these democratic socialists should look at France for what will happen if their vision of the future becomes reality. High taxes lead to economic stagnation and job losses. Job losses put unsustainable demands on the socialist state. Socialist state looks for ways to stem job losses. Socialist state reduces taxes to spur economy. Socialists are unhappy with business profits and demand higher taxes. Rinse and repeat. You cannot tax or regulate your way to prosperity in a world economy.
