Too much hype......

Okay, guys....hang on, as you know my opinion is worth exactly what you are paying for it! :)) How-ever, with all the hype that has gone into our team being very good, depth chart almost unending, and being led by a "mention" of Heisman Trophy candidate q-back, Saturday's Tulane game was not only difficult for me to watch, I was beyond disappointed. There were definitely bright spots, or we would not have won the game....period. I get quite tired of coaches (all of them) starting their post game interviews with "We just came out with a win (or loss) against a VERY good (whoever) team". So seldom do we hear that our team played poorly, was coached poorly, and made the other team look good. How excited I was, think most of us were, to have the impressive roster and be looking to beat the livin' socks off anyone with courage to show up. It's early, I know, and "we're gonna correct some things".....boy, I hope that is right. I live 'n breathe purple, looking forward to the improvements and a win over Arizona for starters! K-State v Tulane review: Offensive PFF grades, snap counts

Tried a new format to help organize players by position. Please let me know if you have anything you don't like about it. Defensive snap counts and grades will come in about an hour or so.

Pass defense

I heard the announcers talk about missed assignments during the game. Seems to be a fixable issue. I would think the coaches would spend a lot of time preparing the players for the games each week. Arizona apparently has good receivers and a good passing game. It would make sense that we anticipate the schemes they use and stress assignment responsibility. I wouldn’t use last weeks game film much but rather some of last year’s games. But I’m a novice when it comes to coaching.
