Is kind of a big deal

Just one article yesterday and nothing yet today. I thought the scouting report on ISU would be posted by now. Not complaining, just reminding, based on the "New Year New Direction" post.

Was looking at the K-State Spring football roster and noticed a few positional changes:

Tobi Osunsanmi - LB to DE

Tyson Struber - WR to LB

Tobi’s positional change had been expected as the coaches love his pass rushing potential.

The change for Tyson Struber from WR to LB will be interesting. It’s not a change you usually see from a football player. I suppose Struber will be asked to gain some muscle to play at the linebacker position. We could also see a departure from the linebacker position group soon that led coaches to make this decision.

He likely could’ve (and likely would’ve) received an extra year of eligibility due to the injury and medical hardship waiver.

However, Green is heading to the NFL.

Is pretty much unwatchable. Bad look for Fox.

They don’t have enough healthy players. @kamdentat1 Any idea what happened? Is this illness or injuries or both? I think the Cats already traveled yesterday so it seems like TCU could have let them know sooner.

It counts as a win with the conference standings but not for the NCAA official record. It’s a no contest for the NCAA. Costs us a chance at a road win for the NET rankings.

I've been watching K-State basketball since the Jack Hartman days, but I can't point to many teams with more heart than this one. On Saturday, everything was going wrong and they were behind by double digits with 10 minutes to go. But they never lost heart and did not get discouraged. They fought back and took it at the end, though it could have been easy to get frustrated and give up. Kudos to the players and to coach Tang for a great effort and a winners' mentality. They are certainly the Cardiac Cats or Heart Attack Cats, but I see them as Full-of-Heart Cats!

Serena Sundell and Eliza Maupin lead the Cats in scoring with 16 points each. Sundell also added 5 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 assists. Maupin was a PERFECT 6-6 from the floor.

Another great game by the defense, who held Baylor to 40% from the floor and 21% from 3PT.

Cats advance to 19-1 on the year and remain undefeated in Big 12 play. Team continues to prove they are legit National Championship contenders.

Without Ayoka Lee, the Wildcats did enough to handle Kansas, 69-58.

Serena Sundell led the way with 15 points, 7 assists and 6 boards. Zyanna Walker also had 15 off the bench.

Gisela Sanchez started for Lee but Eliza Maupin was strong off the bench with 8 points.

Great win for the Cats.

It will make it more difficult for teams to maintain their rosters if athletes can transfer each year. Apparently the schools will be forced to require athletes to sign multiple year contracts with NIL back loaded.
