Arthur Kaluma named to 2024 Julius Erving Award watchlist

Kansas State forward Arthur Kaluma was one of 20 players named to the preseason Julius Erving Award watchlist.
The award is given to the best small forward in the country. Keyontae Johnson was named a finalist last year but did not win (it was given to Kansas' Jalen Wilson).

This season, Kaluma is one of three Big 12 players on the watchlist, joining Jalen Bridges (Baylor) and Johnny Furphy (Kansas).

Now for the important part:
Per the Kansas State athletics press release:

Fans are encouraged to participate in Fan Voting, presented by Dell Technologies, in each of the three rounds beginning Friday, October 27. In late January, the watch list of 20 players for the 2024 Julius Erving Award will be narrowed to 10, and then in late February, to just five. In March, the five finalists will be presented to Erving and the Hall of Fame’s selection committee, where a winner will be selected.

You can vote HERE beginning Friday.

Kansas State target Boone Morris decommits from UTSA

2024 LB Boone Morris, who is a Kansas State target, has decommitted from UTSA just days after visiting Kansas State on an official visit.

Seems like there is some level of mutual interest in this recruitment, and the timing certainly fits for Kansas State. However, Morris still has plenty of offers, mostly Group of 5, so it's possible he's just reopening his recruitment in general.

Still, Kansas State is certainly in a good position in Morris' recruitment. Keep an eye on this recruitment as Early Signing Day nears.

Another " What's wrong with these people"

I understand that "pols" aren't the end all and be all but...

A majority of Republican voters view former President Donald Trump as a person of faith, more than just about every other 2024 primary foe, according to a new poll.

A Deseret News/Harris X poll found that 53% of registered Republican voters said they found Trump to be a man of faith. Roughly the same percentage voters view former Vice President Mike Pence (52%) and Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (47%) the same way, though the poll has a 5.5 percentage point margin of error among GOP so it isn't especially possible to compare these.
