Pumped that K-State is finally doing an equipment sale, sad because my daughter is due the day before and won't be able to attend :/

Alternate Uniform?

I’m on the fence about some or any version of an alternate uniform. I even consider slight Helmut changes as “alternate uniforms”. Many of my fellow K-Stater friends feel that we should never change the uniform, especially the helmets I’m curious on how you all feel about the idea of multiple versions of our football uniforms. By the way, I’m all for it on the basketball front. Would love to see the big game grays come back in basketball.

NIL payments

So you are in charge of developing parameters for NIL.

Things such as the total amount for each sport (a salary cap, so to speak). If it is an annual amount, is it lose it or use it? Who determines the limit?

When can a player draw on his or her NIL. For example, the amount is placed in trust until college eligibility expires.

Is the NIL an annual negotiation for each athlete?

Or do you say that no parameters are necessary?

Basketball recruiting Portal Names to Watch - Update: Cats get hoodwinked

Some big time names popped on the radar recently with entries.

LJ Cryer from Baylor: Tang was the lead recruiter

Max Abmas from ORU

Tylor Perry from North Texas: was told tonight that the assumption from folks in Denton is that he lands at K-State. I assumed he would go to Tech with Mcassland. Haven’t heard from a K-State side on the efforts there yet.

Also the Montana State guard Raeqwan Battle might hit the portal for his grad year.
