Basketball Big 12 Tournament - Matchup set for K-State

With all the weirdness of the day in the Big 12, K-State is the No. 3 and will face No. 6 TCU for the third time this season at 8:30 on Thursday night. Kansas and Iowa State are both in the early session, so tickets should be a little more reasonable to come across.

Iowa State and Baylor will rematch in the 11:30 AM game, KU is the 1 seed and Texas is the 2 seed. Their matchups aren't set as the OSU/Texas Tech game will determine seeding 7-9.

Basketball GAME THREAD: No. 11 K-State at West Virginia

Desi Sills has still not been spotted warming up, it is likely the rumor of him not being with the team today is true. So the Wildcats are going to be down a key cog against a physical team. James Okonkwo might be out for WVU, per Jon Rothstein this morning.

Baylor currently trails Iowa State by double digits, which means if that holds, K-State at worst would be the 3 seed in Kansas City. If Texas lost to Kansas as well, the Wildcats are the 2 seed in Kansas City regardless.

Basketball Preview & Pick: No. 11 K-State at West Virginia

I have heard that Desi Sills may not make the trip to Morgantown. Tang shared on the radio show last night that Desi lost a cousin recently, which is what he made reference to after the Oklahoma State win last weekend. If Desi isn't with the team, he is likely back with them for the service.

This basketball team

They’ve had their low points this year for sure, and those weren’t fun at all. But when they’re firing on all cylinders and five or six guys are meaningfully contributing… this is absolutely a Final Four caliber squad. We’ve seen it in different games this season and tonight was no exception.

Just gotta keep this momentum rolling into the tourneys.
