Update on the 6'2" 175 Dawson (South Miami HS) from the 1st leg of the Adidas Gauntlet series in Dallas this past weekend, Dawson averaged 17 pts, 4 boards, and 3 asts over 4 games this past weekend:
"Making a major play for the Rivals150 in 2017 is 6-foot-2 point guard Zack Dawson of D3 M.O.A.M Elite. A slick floor general who showed impressive command of the high ball screen, he played with great pace mixing up speeds, scoring and passing. Louisville has offered and so have Kansas State, Florida Gulf Coast, Lousiana Tech and Florida International among others."

During the HS season, Dawson led his South Miami squad to the FL 8A semis (largest class in that state) and earned 1st team all 8A. KSU was the 1st HM to offer Dawson this past December and Coach Weber has been down to visit Dawson at least a couple times during the last several months. Coach Frazier is the lead recruiter and he is starting to establish a good KSU presence in FL, we'll see what happens here. Dawson's JR highlights linked below:
