Next year is going to be just as rough as this year. Hopefully playing a new QB but also replacing most of the OL. Unless some of the freshman WR are studs going to have below average WRs again. The schedule will
be tough with only 6 home games. We can probably assume losses @stanford, @TCU, @Baylor, @OU....@ISU and @WVU will be toss ups. At this point I can't imagine anything better than 6-6 or 7-5 for next year. Recruiting will continue to struggle as coach will turn 77 and recruiting will be shut down starting in August.
This year seems like a waste because Delton or Ertz got no playing time. I think coach was a little to conservative with redshirts. Probably could have pulled a few on the WR and OL positions. Instead of a retooling year it has become a disaster and it falls 100% on the coaches.
