Why?
This is something that I've never understood why teams don't have a 4th string QB as the holder on FG's or Extra points. Even if you only ever fake it once, it still gives the other team & coaches something to think about.
But why does KSU try a fake field goal & needing to get 7 yards with a backup kicker, but they won't go for it on 4th & 1?
Snyder said (Fritch's quote) "Didn't want too". Do you really think that he made those calls? If not, then I can understand his frustrations. If he did, then what was the rationale?
This last quote by Snyder is why I think that this will be his last year. Look, we all know what Snyder's been like his entire career at KSU. He's always been short (especially after games) with the media. But this season, he's been asked the same questions over & over (rightfully so because it's the same mistakes) & he's extremely frustrated. I think that he's getting tired of the fact that he HAS TO answer these questions to defend his assistants & himself. But this is either a "I'm pissed off & defending my assistants on the bad calls" or "I'm the head coach, I made the calls & that's that" kind of quote.
