There are currently 8 teams within 3.5 games for the 2nd AL wild card spot. Looks like it will be quite a chase to end the season. The Yankees are losing a couple of their starting pitchers so they easily could drop back from the first spot. A couple of teams that looked dead a few weeks ago are now back in the race (Twins and Orioles).
