Barry Brown, AGAIN, was just MONSTER defensively on SGA. He deserves EVERYTHING good that happens to him, because he works so hard for EVERYTHING. I doubted his ceiling. ANd I was 100% wrong. Oh, I don't think I was (very) wrong about his skill level. He's not a good perimeter shooter. But he makes up for that, and then some, with his physical and mental toughness, and his will to win. And what a leader he has become! Just love everything about this kid.
X!!!!! Dude just rises up every few games...and very often in very big games! He was SOOO big tonight, and again, he deserves everything good that comes his way because of his effort
Kam Stokes: 5 Rebounds. 4 Steals. 3 Assists. Yes, 2-7, but two of those were end of half trey, and prayer when we had to inbound it with 2 seconds on the clock. But MORE IMPORTANTLY--he was EXCELLENT defensively. I'll say more about that later. Positive vibes, tonight.
McGuirl was good defensively, and hit a BIG three. This experience will be a spring-board
Diarra was also VERY good defensively. And he had a couple very key buckets, at key times in the game. Again, this experience will be so valuable for him going forward
