my brother, and I will be going to the games in Ames this year. I was looking at hotels, and unfortunately it's slim Pickens. One hotel I found is a mile east away from the stadium. I was curious if anyone knows what kind of neighborhood that is around there. I'd imagine overall Ames is a pretty safe location, but I have never visited the town before.
